Dina Joana Ocampo-Cristobal obtained her M.Ed. (Reading Education) from the University of the Philippines and her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Surrey, United Kingdom.
She researches and publishes papers on literacy and dyslexia. Dina is actively involved in endeavors that inform public educational policy. In 2007, she was named one of The Outstanding Women in the Nation’s Service (TOWNS). She was also an awardee of the 2009 Search for Outstanding Teacher (SOT) sponsored by the Metrobank Foundation. Dina has taken leadership roles in the education sector. Most importantly, she is the mother of two boys with very different learning abilities and challenges.
