Maria Reina Macalinao-Pante has worked with children and adults with dyslexia, ADHD, language disorders, and other learning conditions for more than 22 years. She is highly proficient in teaching science to students with learning disabilities and is an advocate of experiential and discovery learning approaches.
She earned her Masters Degree in Science Education in Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia. Reina has helped establish support groups for parents, children and families of children with learning disabilities to promote its awareness and understanding. Reina has been involved in tasks and projects that entail 1-on-1 literacy intervention, curricular/remedial planning, student supervision, and teacher training.
